2013 Boys Foot Locker Finalists Stats

 

Individually there are 7 returning harriers to Balboa Park's Morley Field this year, including the top returner, Aaron Templeton who finished in 7^th place at the 2012 championship. This year’s field is dominated by upperclassmen featuring 28 Seniors and 12 Juniors.  No Sophomores or Freshmen made it out of the regional meets.

 

 

The team race is interesting with the South looking to win for the third year in a row lead by returners Templeton and Demerest as well as the fastest regional, but the West and Midwest also bring back two previous qualifiers and have plenty of firepower of their own.

 

Rubin Reina remains the last boy to have won Foot Locker Nationals from the South.  Rubin won the championship in 1985 and still holds the Balboa Park course record, 14:36.
